Aqualex Glossary

The "Aqualex" multilingual glossary on aquaculture terms has been applied to PISCES TT as an interactive function. The aim is to help users understand technical terms. To see the function scroll over technical words on the website. If the term in the glossary it will be in bright blue and when you roll your mouse over it will pop up with a definition.

The Glossary is also available as a multimedia CD-ROM and a hardback book.

"Aqualex" is composed of:

- a 4-language glossary of 2750 aquaculture terms 

- Separate indexes for English, French, German and Greek (Book: 397 pages)

- Instant definitions & translations to and from English, French, German and Greek (CD-ROM)

- All terms can be heard in native-speaker sounds (CD-ROM)

"Aqualex", published by John Wiley & Sons Ltd, can be ordered directly from AMC 

The 4-language CD-ROM costs €30.00 and the book (€50.00) - prices include postage/packing and VAT.

The glossary is also available for licensing as an online database (license fee according to language(s) required).
The Glossary will also shortly be released in 3 new languages; Spanish, Italian & Norwegian.
