VALLA (Validation of all lifelong learning in Aquaculture) is a 2 years European project aiming to demonstrate - using the aquaculture as a pilot - how to validate and recognize short-term sectoral training (including non-formal learning)

VALLA will provide an occupational map for the sector using a competence-based approach. Based on the Leonardo Da Vinci WAVE project (www.waveproject.com), VALLA will examine how the resulting competence-based learning can be evaluated and validated and how short term training can be awarded credits.
